“Difficult,” the opening track of GAWVI’s third studio album HEATHEN, is an open ballad discussing difficulties and struggles. The ending opens the album up with the “heathen” theme, sharing sampled vocals of a riot to stone one for being a heathen, or in context, a sinner.

The track was completely written by GAWVI’s Reach Records-labelmate WHATUPRG and features vocals from his daughter, Giana, making her first appearance ever.

On March 6, 2020, GAWVI posted a teaser for his April 2020 album HEATHEN along with previewing a track from the project.
